As “I’m first on job, last one off”, Guy Federico wears the white hard hat of a supervisor & has flourished for 32 years as a member of LiUNA. He spent some years at Northeastern University studying criminal justice but then followed his father into the trades.
His career is the embodiment of the Boston skyline. Federico has worked at Deer Island, on “The Big Dig”, the Zakim Bridge & Encore Casino in Everett, Massachusetts. He has also worked for Boston Sand & Gravel, Suffolk Construction & Winthrop Center is his fourth building for MIllennium Partners. “I’ve placed every inch of concrete on I-93N & I-93S. Probably a million yards in my life.”
Passions outside work, Guy is a lifelong motorcyclist. In good weather, you can find him & his friends exploring New England aboard his third Ducati. He enjoys cooking (his brother is a professional chef) & makes his own sauces from vegetables & tomatoes grown on the corner house plot. Skills he learned from his mother. Guy & his wife have raised three children: two boys & a girl who are schooled remotely at home because of the pandemic.
This lifelong union member travels back to his homeland, Abruzzi. Between jobs, he visits his extended family. His children still enjoy the house his father lived in & reap the cultural benefits of a culture long past.
